Starting care shortly after birth is ideal as the birth process itself can be traumatic. In fact, studies have shown that over 90% of newborns checked immediately after birth had a subluxation in their spine that causes changes in the nervous system and health if left untreated. Removing subluxations can allow children to grow and become extremely healthy children who turn into healthy adults.

Dr. Leah is proud to be the only pediatric chiropractor in the area. She trains with the some of the best pediatric chiropractors in the nation with Epic Pediatrics and she is currently working towards her pediatric diplomat from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).

Providing Gentle Care

Rest assured that as a pediatric chiropractor, Dr. Leah always provides gentle care in our fun and friendly office complete with toys, book, and even a children’s adjusting table to looks like an owl.

The process of adjusting babies, in particular, is very gentle, Dr. Leah applies light pressure – about the same amount of pressure used to check a tomato for ripeness.

How Chiropractic Helped Dr. Leah’s Son

Brooks, Dr. Leah’s son, had some difficulties breastfeeding on one side due to subluxations. She would adjust him every time he had a little trouble nursing and then immediate he was able to feed on that side.

Helping You Feel Comfortable

As a mom, Dr. Leah understands that sometimes it is easier to talk and concentrate without your child present. At our office you may request to come in alone, without your child for the first part of their Day One visit. We can chat about what is going on with your child as well as discuss their history.
